Black scrollwork on cream crepe, drawn in the long curling line of a nouveau iron gate, sized large enough that the pattern reads as architecture rather than print. Sleeveless with a high round neck and a seam at the natural waist, then a skirt that falls clean to the floor with just enough sweep to move. There are pockets. Two colors only, which is why it stays severe instead of festive.
